Someone in CO Loves You

It was so fun to have the Buchanan family here in AZ for Thanksgiving. Justus got to meet his grandpa ("Pops") and his Uncle Taylor (or should I say "Traylor") for the first time. He already loves to sit and watch T.V. with Pops (an all-important male pastime) and he just loves to hang out with his uncle. And how could he not love being spoiled with the undivided attention of Grandma Tangy (or MiMi, B.B., G-Ma, YaYa, whatever it may be!).

We can't wait to come to Colorado for New Year's...maybe he'll see his first snow!

Dancin' With Myself

After his bath, Justus LOVES to lay in his towel on his changing table and dance! It is the cutest thing...and when Billy Idol came up on the iPod, I had to get the camera. Unfortunately, he is somewhat mesmerized by the light on the camera and he freezes once he sees it, but I figured out that if I get behind him he usually loses sight of the little light and gets back to what he was doing.

Now the question is...who does he get these moves from?? If you have ever been lucky enough to see Travis dance, you already know the answer to this question.

Baby Babble

This one's for the grandmas who I know will watch this over and over (and over and over and over...)!

I know most parents think their kids are way smarter than they actually are, but Travis puts them all to shame. All I have to say is, "You wish, Trav...his first word will definitely be 'mama'!"

2 months + 3 shots = 1 cutie

Justus had his 2-month appointment today...which also means he had his first round of shots. He was seriously a champ. After they were done (it took a total of maybe 10 seconds to give him 3 shots in his thighs), he let out one big cry and then fell right asleep! He is doing great and seems pretty much unaffected by getting poked.

He weighs 12 lbs, 15 oz and is 24" long, and he's in the 75th percentile for his height and weight. What a chubby, long little cutie!! I wonder where he gets it?? Hmmm...chubbiness from mom, length from dad...and unfortunately, I have the baby pictures to prove it! At least he doesn't have my triple-chin yet!!

Tongue Tied

I'm pretty sure Justus discovered his tongue today. He keeps sticking it out and it is definitely keeping him (and me) entertained!!
